Easy Whole Wheat Waffles

This is a super easy waffle recipe if you are wanting something yummy! They also freeze great if you have any leftovers. A trick to freezing the waffles so they don’t stick together is laying them flat on a cookie sheet and placing them in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until they get a little frozen and then placing them in a freezer bag together. Works like magic! Then when you are in a crunch for time some morning you just pop them out and toast them. Instant breakfast.


2 eggs
2 cups wheat flour
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tbs white sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
1.Preheat waffle iron. Beat eggs in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.

2.Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.
